Good evening.
My last trip out I noticed my bilge fuse on my DCpabel had been tripped. I was on my way to haul out so I did not give it the attention needed. I just phrchased the boat in August. Its. a 280 SS. I have owned manh boats but this is my first sea ray. I am not familiar with these breakers. When they trip, how can they be reset. It liiks asif there should be a samll key of some soIcanplace in there to click it back to on. S

I apologize for spelling errors. My phone is terrible to work with !

Ken not sure about resetting the breaker but anytime mine starts popping breakers I replace them it means they are drawing more amps then it supposed to.

Morning,
Breakers don't draw amps, they protect the wiring. Look at the device connected to the breaker. THAT is possibly drawing more amps than the capacity of the breaker. That being said, breakers DO wear out and will trip at lower current draws.

I have a couple of weak breakers as well. They need to be replaced in the spring. Out of curiosity, is there a life expectancy on marine breakers?

Fuses don't trip....they blow. Breakers trip. Is it a fuse or breaker ???

Pumps draw amps not the breaker I had to replace my pumps not my breakers.

Sorry I guess I wasn't clear.
