would appreciate comments from anyone with direct experience with these two boats - my questions more about quality, engines, performance, etc - 450DA has Cat 3126's (550 hrs) - 4270 has Merc 8.2L's (600 hrs) - understand gas consumption and resale issues - both boats immaculate - 450DA personal boat of local dealer and 4270 owned by original owner and looks new - are leaning toward 4270 ($210k)due to twin cabin layout but diesels and electronics on 450DA for $230k make it a strong runner - will be used on inland rivers (live in Minnesota) and as you can guess 6-7 months of use and then on hard for remainder
