The design of the radar arch on my 1999 440 Express stupidly allows water to pool up on the arch and leak onto both the countertop on the starboard side and the couch on the port side. It seems to me that the problem stems from the fact that the arch tilts forward when the boat is at rest, so there's no way for the water to drain off the rear of the arch.

Other than having the top of the arch removed and cutting the side supports so that it tilts backwards, has anyone come up with a way to solve this problem?

pix would help but some of that plastic glue on rain gutter sold for RVs might work.

I have the same problem Hogan. Although I don;t think your idea will do much to help. In my case the canvas is attached under the arch on each side. My arch looks like an airfoil though so I know it is just running down the canvas towards the arch as the canvas is taller in the middle. The guy that made our new canvas tried a half dozen different ways to stop it and it was no dice. The only way would be to make the arch the highest point which would then restrict head room in the helm area. Two other alternatives he suggested were to go clean over the arch or switch to a hard top. I do have an idea to try some different weather striping materials around it but have not done so yet. You are right, it is very annoying though.
