A first perhaps?

Dan you crack me up man. That little spot looks pretty cool and like KD said if it weren't for the train you'd be totally secluded or somethig like that. ( No biggie at all but it's Bernadette you have to at least try to remember her name if you'r gonna bust her chops :) -----Jon

Sounds like we may have the making of a HRCC North Raft-Up. Let's do it! I can probably get three or so more boats from Coeymans to join us.

Dan, no genny on board that ship of yours? Inverters are great. I have a 1000W Exceltech which is awesome for coffee in the AM.

Dan , just pull the old Hogan trick & plug into someone eleses boat (save on fuel:)If you go I have a baby honda 2000 genny you can borrow it may have enough juice to run one or two goodies on Freedom.

KD , I think the guys down here around Haverstraw -Stony Point area are afraid to pass under bridges or something ?...
mabey around the last weekend of july or so ? keep you posted.

We have a genny. The inverter is so we can run some appliances etc. without having to start it. This way the beer stays cold without all the noise!

Methinks you have to make seven or eight trips up to the Rondout or Catskil Creek before making a statement like that.

Seven or eight trips to Rondout or Catskill?

How about one trip to Troy and you'd have that many covered no problem. More bridges between Catskill and Troy (10 of 'em) than between Haverstraw and Kingston for sure, and a few of 'em are a whole lot older, especially those RR Bridges.

Last weekend in July could work..... Let's keep eachother posted on this.

John H how about at laest 10 or more trips to roundout for the past 25 years or more ( AM I QUALIFIED NOW) + 2 Trips a year to Canada and usually one to Champlain or the eire canal annually.
KD that weekend is looking good for us also .

Just got back from the boat we were putting by the bear mtn. bridge when the sky turned black so we flew back to stony point and threw the top up at the dock just before the lightning and down pour started in 20 min. it was gone .
We didn't see one boat on haverstraw bay after that for the rest of the night. Where are you guys? ???????????????

I miss the old days when people used there boats for more than just sitting on the dock, anybody up for a trip around the city sunday? Taking a friend and his daughters for a day ride be back early ? only two bridges to go under heading south . Oh yea I forgot about the scary ones in the Harlem & East river ,You guys better stay put:)

Go ahead and use your boat and enjoy it, but please...stop whining about what everyone else does with their boating time.

Hey John H , Waaaa! Waaaaaa! Lighten up dude it's a joke maybe you just need a boat ride:)
