We were berthed at Perrys. A few weeks ago, the wife and I were down at the boat and we went to Korths for breakfast. Checked the gas prices and on the way back, decided to check the gas prices at Willowberm. As we pulled in my wife said, lets check the berth prices here. We went in and told them what we needed. We need a tall slip for our 34' Tolly due to the flybridge and canvas. All the tall 40' slips were full but they offered us a 50' slip for the price of a 40'. One of the few benefits of a poor economy. After taking the tour and seeing all the amenities they have to offer, we decided to move.
Took the boat down on Saturday. As luck would have it, once inside the marina and approaching the slip, the starboard engine decided to quit.For anyone that has been there, a fair amount of current runs through the new section. I did manage to get the boat in but not without a little drama. Now it's time to figure out what happened. Next time down I'll dive into the engine compartment.
