Bill K. and I launched at Chesapeake Beach Marina at 8:30am and fished until 2:20pm today, 8/30/06. The skies were cloudy putting low light conditions on the water. The winds were out of the northeast blowing approximately 10 to 15 mph.
The fish finder lit up on our first stop.
It wasn't long before the best fish finders showed up and stayed around the rest of the day.
The most productive lure was a Lure Jensen, Crippled Herring, 1 1/2 ounce, White Body, Yellow Back.
Both вЂon the run' and bottom jigging were very productive for both bluefish and striped bass.
Fishing Tip:
Wear this..
And after handling over 200 fish your hand could look
Like this..
Worked for me.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Tom Hughes
