An overfly of the most scenic dinghy run

I have the Phantom 3 4K. Love it so far...still getting use to it. Looking forward to start some boating/fishing videos.

Pascal,

I am so frggin jealous. It does not look real in the Exumas. My wife and I have to go there and soon!

4K is useless as it use so much memory and some devices can't handle I think anyway. 1080 is plenty.

That mavic pro belongs to our second mate, I also used a phantom 4 a guest brought. Trying to decide which one to get. I m tempted by the splashpro mariner which can land and takeoff from the water but I'm not sure it has th range and speed of the mavic. Here it often blows 15 to 20kts so you need a top speed of 40kts to be able to get somewhere...

Jetskis in the creek. Ugh. That was one of the most serene places we were able to enjoy.

The quadH2o is. Nice but a little. More money, even as a kit...

Yeah... jetskis in the creek despite the signs. Some of the big boats also hog the small landing beach at th end with tents, toys, etc... Exumas are changing.

Pascal we saw it coming in the mid 80's and made up our minds to retire early. We have absolutely no regrets because we saw things before it got out of control. The last time we stopped in at Compass and Staniel there were loud mouthed stereo blasting creeps that totally ruined the environment.
Oh well.

But we got it done.

The good thing is that there are so many great anchorages in th Exumas, especially south of staniel, that you don't have to deal with people. We were there for a couple of weeks mid to late march and there were places where there were no other boats anchored nearby, even though it was spring break and peak season. You just have to know where to go but with 120 miles of Cays, it's not hard.

Indeed, but you have to be ready for it.

Some people like to equate those places to being in an RV. Me, I think it takes it a bit farther than that and we have to be more prepared. I agree it is still very special.
