Your boat, your call.
Marina won't touch it until you say too.
As soon as battery dies, salt water will flood it.
Insurance will fix it.
You don't want a boat flooded with salt water fixed, never be the same.

I know it will never be the same thats why I was hoping it was either all good or all gone. Will try and get them to see if they can get it out tomorrow. Maybe the dock will hold up.

Most insurance companies say take pics but if your boat is in danger of getting more damage, pull it.
I bet they can get the forklift under yours and lift it out.

I am going down in the morning at low tide to see if I can get into my boat, if you want help, I can help you!

Thanks I am working till 7am and should be there by 8am. My Cell is 646 2343353. I can also give you a hand while I am there.

Boy oh boy, here'e a guy whose boat is destroyed and he's still helping others to save their boats. Good for you Dave.

Finally back in NY and drove to Long Beach late yesterday to check my home. Boats are strewn all over the roadways. Nearly all of the marinas in East Rockaway, Island Park and Oceanside were hit hard. More boats damaged on land that floated off stands and then sank.

Going to check the boat this morning but word from the yard is that it is fine. We lost two cars (unfortunately my Vette) and everything stored lower than 2 feet in the garage and storage room. All the utilities are shot. We're displaced until water and sewer are restored.

Dave is a good guy. Sorry to see this happen to him or anyone.
