I was in the water today and noticed my anodes on my Bravo III are probably half gone. I'm going to order new set and replace them, but I was wondering how many of you that boat in the hudson replace them during the season or do you only put them on fresh in the spring? I wonder if this is because it is the problematic Bravo III.

If they are wearing away that is good. I replace my anodes in the Spring but if they are almost gone during the summer I would replace them.

I always got a full season out of my anodes on Bravo 3's. I am down in Jersey City so much saltier water than the brackish water you have up in Stony Point.

Replace Them ASAP... Wear is good....With the Bravo 3's there was a problem with extensive wear... The anodes are the best protection you have... Something you may also do is they have the additinal anode in the shape of a fish that you hook to ground and drop in the water. Pick one up and use it...
As far as salt water the serious problem seemed to be in brackish water. They did have it in salt and fresh but not as severe as we have it here with brackish. At least thats what I have heard and read....

Being half gone with this season as far as we are seems to be about normal, but with the known problems with the B3 I would change it. Anodes are alot cheaper than drive housings...

I could hook that fish to the end of my son's line and tell him he caught an Aluminum fish!

I am ordering new anodes. I have seen the fish you mentioned, I'll see if they have it hear at Boatfix.

Thanks again!
