I've been cruising up and down some parts of the ICW and using WIFI,I have not read anything about any RO's out here...Tell me, us folks are still active down here in So. Fl. Boating
or what?

captchas,

I went out Hillsboro Inlet 8 PM Fri night, anchored just north of the sea buoy. Fished a few hours and slept a few hours. Picked up a few keeper snapper and grupper, nothing very big. Trolled a few hrs in AM but no luck. Got back to the dock at 10:30 AM to hear that someone stole a dockmates brand new and $$$ underwater cameras and electronics. washed my gear down. Hooked my thumb on a Sabiki hook while stowing away the rods. Went right through right next to the thumb nail. Clipped off the tiny barb and backed it out with pliers. That was extent of the excitement on the first day I took off from work in years.
Haven't heard any thing from other SF ROs.

Do you cruise north of Hillsboro or Atlantic Blvd. I stop at the Tiki bar at the Sands once in a while. Want to have lunch and/or a beverage any time, give me a call. 954 465 0196.

Peret,

Those grady whites are really well designed and have a nice dry stable ride compared to many other hulls of similar size. My last boat was a Grady.

Glad to see you have equipped yours with quality. Nice photo.

Be careful with your new choices of boat - wrong hull design will leave you disappointed.

Were going to stay with a grady... I'm not into buying brand new boats and I just have found that the Gradys seem to hold up really well. You dont have to fix things everyday and I love the classic looks.

Im a real fan of a company that barely changes the look of their boats year to year. Look at our boat and then a brand new one and they are very similar. It's kind of like a porsche 911... a 20 year old 911 has similar lines to a new one. I love that in a quality design.

Look at some 10 year old boats and you cant even see a resemblance to the new ones.

I love classic lines and looks... I like owning a boat that will never look terribly outdated.

I know some say Grady is overhyped... but I 2 boats ago I owned a lesser name... it was awesome i was out on the water... but I do love the Grady even more :)

Love boating!

Peter, Great picture, Nice lines all around;)How about trying for a a SFBC raft up at Boca Lake one Saturday or Sunday.

Sure... lake boca would be fun... we don't go down there very often... but on a nice day it would be a blast... I could run down in the ocean :)

Let's get that water warming up...

Hey Charles

i'm always on the water one way or another... if not on my own boat, it's at the helm of Charmer (the 70 footer i captain) or out the bay sailing with naomi on her Hobie 16...

i was in Bimini last week for 3 days, it was dead over there, empty marinas, not a single boat at Honeymoon Harbor on friday... sunday, we had a blast sailing the Hobie on the bay!

Went sailing off Port Everglades yesterday on a friend's Little Harbor 58, what a boat, and a great day for sailing it!
We have had our boat out and about for several 1-4 night trips various places, and the Whaler all around from Aventura through the New River. We'll do some more day cruising over the course of the coming month, then back up to Massachusetts for the summer: may take the long way via Keys, Exumas, SW FL, Okeechobee (depth permitting) and on up. We've been based in Hollywood this winter. More work than play this year vs. last.

OWW levels seem to be going down, normal at this time (i can't even remember when we last had rain down hee!!)

george, let me know if you head down this way, can't believe we havent' met yet, too bad you missed the Hatteras Owners Raft up last month, it was fun!

SFBC Raft-up,Hmm! Sounds like a great idea ,It's been a long time since all got together. We would be looking forward to that activity.
