My 88 3202 Aft isn't the prettiest thing to look at but don't want to make things worse. Not too worried about covering the entire boat but would like to buy a cover for the bridge and possibly cover the aft deck. Anyone know of where I can get some sort of universal cover? $400 in shrink wrap ain't gonna cut it this year and don't feel like doing the whole engineering project for the tarp thing either.

On that boat, shrink wrap is probably your best bet if you don't want to do a tarp. There's a place in NJ called Fisher canvas that does custom covers that last a long time, but they'll weigh a ton for the size needed to do your boat.
I'm in the same delimea.. I have a nice bridge cover that really will do 90% of what I need but I would like to take her out of the elements. I was thinking of buying the shrink-wrap kit.. MAybe with a buddy or two. The plastic is a couple hundred a year once you buy the heater etc..

I had a bridge cover done by Top Stitch in Patchogue. Can't recall exactly how much, but more than $400. but not unreasonable.
I have been using just bridge covers on my last two boats. Shrink wrap is expensive to protect fiberglass and stainless steel, which in many places is uncovered all year. I put a good coat of wax on the steel and decks, careful to fill any cracks and don't buff off.
I live near the boat and can check it often.
I know many are horrified and couldn't sleep at night without shrink wrap. But I have never had any problems. There are several of us in my marina who have done this for years. Never heard of any problems.
