Serge used to raft up with us and had a California made boat. A buddy described a boat that is similar to Serge's, but darned if I can remember who made it.

I have a photo of it, but couldn't see the manufacturer's name.

Any info appreciated.

Well, how about posting the picture? Or giving us a description: hull type, size, engines, etc.

Without any info, I'll take a stab at "Navigator" just for grins.

The founder used to build Grand Banks; after he sold that company he founded Californian Yachts. Then he sold Californian and started Navigator. I see that he has Californian back now. I think the Navigator Yachts are great and have innovative layouts which are now being duplicated by other major yacht companies.

If I ever win the lottery, I'm going to buy me a 50+ footer!!!!!! Well, it is fun to dream.......

I have a front photo and an aft photo, but several of us rafted up with Serge in 2003 or 2004.

His boat is made in California, sorry, having a mental meltdown. I can't remember how to post photos on the website. I could email them to someone, let them post the two I have.

I get so frustrated ... it is a nice boat. Like a pilothouse. 25-28 feet maybe. His boat was at Antioch when we took the pictures of it. Maybe I could email Gene...hmmm.

His boats name is Calypso. The last 2 letters of the manufacturer's name is "-on."

How nice to be remembered still, despite my lack of contributions to this forum... My boat was (and is) a 26 foot Farallon Excursion, made by Farallon Boats in West Sacramento. She is now docked at Alameda Marina, and spending most of her time on the Bay. That's her in my avatar...

Serge, glad to see you lurking around here! Hope you will drop in now and then with a question or report on your adventures!
