July 20th is the Haverstraw Aquapalooza. Is anyone going this year? We went last year and it was pretty good. The only thing missing was a bar boat.

What do they offer than you can't get just rafting up with friends?

oh and a chance to compare your boat to a SeaRay so you know why you didn't buy one!

It's a real lot of fun; you get to meet new people. I personally don't think Sea Ray owners are snobs, at least not the ones in my neck of the woods.

Searay gives back more than any other manufacture; the rest of the manufactures should wake up.
When was the last time Regal, Silverton, Crusiers, Luhrs, Crownline, Cabo, Hatteras, Bayliner, Viking, Ocean, just to name a few, hosted a party with live entertainment, gave you a goodie bag, invited all people and did it for free????? The answer is never!!!!!!!

If you ever went to a Searay Rendezvous, Searay boaters only and you pay a nominal fee, you would experience the best party one could ever imagine.

I know you post were tongue and cheek, but give credit due to a manufacture that gives back.

Sea Ray had better give back. With the prices they charge? Wait. All boats are expensive.... Duh!
 
Walter, not sure if you meant to leave out Formula from your list above, but they do a pretty decent job with their rendezvous' held in various parts of the country depending on dealer participation. They have had gatherings on Lake George the past 3 years and when Total Marine had a franchise they went to Newport each year...will the aquapalooza be around Croton Point or at Haverstraw Marina?

Make no mistake, SeaRay does this to make money. Excellent marketing ploy, use lots of customers boats to attract lots of non SeaRay owners so they can see many different SeaRay boats and how happy their owners are. Great bang for the advertising buck for SeaRay.

BTW, Regal does help sponsor Regal Rendezvous via their dealer network. Not as big a scale but done none the less.

George - last year it was over in Croton. I suspect it will be there once again.
 
BTW - I have nothing against Sea Rays or their owners, in fact I count several Sea Ray owners as friends. ;)
 
Other than the free tee shirts, sounds like pretty much every weekend where we raft up
 
WOW I was just wondering if anyone was going.

I'll be there. Last year they had a DJ,a bunch of water toys ans some give aways. It was pretty good. Also as WALTERV said, it's a good chance to meet other peaple in the area.

Well if anyone else is going stop by for a beverage. Sundancer 250 wtill with no name.
