I must say now is an ideal time to start building a wood boat. With the economy being soft there is nothing like a two year project to take ones mind off current events until the economy improves. I was carrying the model of my next boat I am going to build in my backpack to work this week and working on the scarf cutting and clamping jigs I need to make for the scarf joints on Cassi's 19 foot inner and outer sheers during my BART commute. It can get a little cold working in the garage this time of year but I open a window and wheel the barbaque in if it gets to cold to take the chill out of the air.

Flutterby, I will look into getting an anchor over the holidays, it seems like a lot of info to type in but I am grateful Blue Skies Dave setup this forum after the delta chambers one went toes up so I should support it. DD
