1998 21' Sea Ray 210 Sundeck.
I want to move my Perko battery switch about 12-15 feet
from where it's now mounted. This would involve three
cables. One from each positive terminal on the batteries to
the switch and one cable from the switch common terminal
back to the starter. What gauge battery cable do I need to use?
I have two 12 Volt batteries and a single Mercruiser engine
(5.7ltr EFI)I/O. There is a 90 AMP fuse on the starter so I
guess that's the maximum amperage for the system.
I keep getting conflicting answers about the gauge neccessary.
I've been told 8AGW, 4AGW, 4/0 AGW.
I want to do it right and keep it safe.
Any tips ?
