I have used the Jabsco plastic can and motor on top ($150) and the West Marine $80 stand alone pump to suck the old oil out manually.

I always have to leave some old oil in th engine pan.

Have any of you had a good experiences with these or other oil changers?

The Jabsco works fine for me. Some oil is going to be left, but not enough to be any problem. Just be sure the oil is warm when you start your pump.

Thanks, George.

Have you sold that priceless Pursuit yet?

I would not trade mine for anything that I have seen in the $150,000 price range.

I have used the Jabsco for years, wouldn't change for anything.

Not yet. I will take a lot less than $150,000.

I am too old with too many ailments. I just cannot get down around the engines anymore. Too much arthritis.

However, yesterday my Rheumatolopgist told me that I was "fixable." That was right after she looked at my elbow and said that looks "horrible."
