There have been some really big sharks migrating along the beaches,West Palm to Miami, including a few great whites.
Jigging for Goggle eye(Live Bait)at night last week off Delray, about 100 ft of water, underwater light hanging off side. Had a couple of fish on our lines when something bumped the light. Looked over the side to see a BIIIG Shark along side the boat(26' Parker). Shark looked almost size of the boat. We have hooked some big sharks over the years, but this one gave us the CREEPS[:-scared]. We pulled the anchor and went home.

That's interesting. We went to our house in Vero/Ft. Pierce a week ago and I happened to hear a news report prior to going down about numerous sharks being seen at various beaches in that area. While there we went to Ft. Pierce beach at the inlet and I was talking to some of the windsurfers who were saying that the water was loaded with sharks, more than they had ever seen before. Wonder what's driving that?

Maybe they prefer the taste of sun baked Floridians.
