Blue Fin Tuna Run?

I hear that Blue Fin Tuna are running off shore NJ. How far out or around where?

I'm hearing that the BFT are running fairly far south - off Egg Harbor and further south - anywhere from 25 - 60 miles out. Although I did hear of a few very large ones caught in and around Hudson Canyon last week.

If this weather clears we are planning a trip south towards the Glory Hole to see what we can either troll or jig up....

Are they early this year? I thought they started up at the end of august through october.
