Boat on fire

I read this morning on the Marin IJ that a boat was on fire last Saturday near Tiburon and all of the passengers had to go on the water before being picked up by another boat.
Does anybody know more about it?

Here is the story from Channel 5 news. Somebody lost a nice 28' Formula. Luckily they were up to date with life vests.

It's also wise to have life jackets in an easy access location and not stuffed in cubby holes, under cushions up somewhere in the bow like I used to do. Not only were they hard to get at, no one but me normally knew where they were.....no bueno

It is scary since it looks like a nice looking boat. It would be nice to know the cause of the fire (electrical? fuel leak?)

Tha latest is that the boat was just serviced.
