My Bimini top seems to have shrunk a little and no longer snaps properly.

This company sells a piece of Sunbrella with a zipper on both sides. You take two panels of your top that zip together and zip this repair piece between two panels of your top which will give you an extra two inches of top to compensate for the shrinkage.

Anyone try this kind of repair?

You said snaps, now it's zippers. Have you thought about these?

I have tried the snap extenders. Bought a bunch. First the snaps seem marginal in how the hold compared to a regular snap. But the issue is a section of my top is now 2" from attaching to my windshield but held to the windshield by 10 of the snap extenders. Rain will run down this section of my top and into my boat.

The zipper product I mentioned will go between the front section of my top and the actual Bimini top. So the front section will be 2" closer to the windshield and should be able to snap properly.

That is the theory anyway. But until you get it in your hands and try it, you never know.
