Town of Haverstraw has rescheduled the Bowline fireworks to Saturday night due to the upcoming rain.
 
upcoming? it's pouring out!!! This sucks I'm on vacation and the weather sucks!
 
Fabulous show! Too bad it's followed by Amateur Hour . . . between boats with no lights, missing lights, wrong lights, and Headlights, the run home is some of the most stressful time on the water. Maybe we'll try to stay on the hook in the cove next year.

We learned years ago it's best to stay anchored for the night. My son parked near Bowline and walked to the water I picked him and his dog up by dink they stay for the show and then I dropped them back off at the shore.

I was the best show I have ever seen there! The second finally was both a surprise as well as great!
I didn't return to my slip until about 4:30 on Sunday, it was a great weekend!!!!!
 
They did a great job with them this year. Gene, were you inside or out. We were in but had Stevens boat. Left dogs in marina watching TV on my boat.
 
Heard they hired a new company this year because they were disappointed in last years which I thought were very good. Nyack needs to do something or cancel all together.
 
We were outside, Butch. Couldn't get there early enough to get inside. Ended up anchoring exactly downwind . . . excellent vantage-point for those 'floating round, hot-air-balloon type' fireworks!
