Note for anyone (like me) that was not aware: When I passed Schaefer's Canal House on the delivery trip, found out it is closed/out of business & degrading rapidly! The dock on the east side of the bridge has torn away from the bulkhead and is falling into the canal. Place looks terrible.
Very sad for me, I remember going to brunch there as a kid and working the docks during its prime. Locals tell me there is talk of Condos...go figure. I guess it's no shock that Chesapeake Inn just expanded and is building banquet facilities!
