Cablevision or Verizon?

Hotspots , regardless of the carrier are a necessity . I have optimum.

Buddy has Verizon and he's screwed on the boat . He installed the rogue and never knew Verizon didn't offer hotspots... pretty funny .

Another vote for Verizon here. Switched everything about two years ago and the Internet speed/quality is astounding, tv picture crisp and consistent plus phone is great. Their service via phone helped us quickly re-set something once. Also thought we needed in house service once but it turned out to be a centralized issue that was just for that night. Guy texted me when he was close, as promised, then was very professional and knowledgable. Not a hot spot user so Verizon for us. Good luck.
 
You can share optimum accounts with friends.
They register by device, not sure if there is a limit to how many devices you can have registered.
I have 2 laptops, phone, ipad, and rogue.
 
5 device limit and I did.

In todays day I don't see how no hotspots is acceptable. those mifi things are joke .
