Car service to JFK/recommendations needed

Need a car service to drive my son from W. Babylon to JFK early Dec. Any recommendations?

I've used Long Island Checker Cab for Airport runs several times over the last couple of years and they have been good. I used to just leave the car in Long Term, but started using them on the recommendation of a friend and it worked out.

Shared ride is cheapest. Long island airport limo is cheap but pay cash. I did credit card and they screwed it up.
I usually use limos for work but they are more costly. Sometimes your local taxi s cheap with fixed price.
Last time I used one I used regency limo.

I suspect that the trip was for this weekend, but for the future and unless you have lots of luggage, I find that the AirTrain is convenient and inexpensive, costing the price of the LIRR ticket and $5 for the AirTrain which gets you pretty much to any terminal in 10-15 from Jamaica station.

Trip is for next week. Ordinarily he would take the AirTrain but his flight this time is 6:00 am and I want to make sure he gets to it on time! He'll probably take the AirTrain home.
