Cedar Beach Marina as of this date has no water! No bathrooms, showers or on dock. Hope they get it repaired by this weekend. They are waiting for a part to come in.

It's been over a week so far !!!
it's a shame it is/wasn't taken care of much quicker...
This past weekend - ALL slips were occupied - ALL trailer
spots were also occupied....
No running water for anyone -- Had four "Port-a potties"

It was totally gross. From what I could "gather". The pump was a custom made one off that requires specialized spare parts. Sounds like someone hired their cousins boyfriend to make something that should have been bought off of the shelf. The porta potties were disgusting. They needed to be emptied every day and as of Saturday, they hadn't been emptied at all. Pretty shameful that we still had to pay full price for no amenities except electric.

The “fresh” water at Tobay was very rusty last weekend. I wonder if the problems at Cedar caused it. Noticed it when I was hosing down my swim platform.
I’m guessing there is one water main that services the whole barrier Island.
Whenever the Village I live in does anything with the water like turning mains on and off to service or replace sections of the system we have to run the water for a while to clear up any rust.

They better get their act together for this weekend. Boat dealers will not be happy about rusty water for washing boats for the show.

Still no water at Cedar on the marina side this weekend, I was there Sunday. My cousin who brings a camper there told me she heard it will not be fixed until April. The water was working fine on the Ocean/Salt Shack side so seems local to the marina area.

Water is back on and bathrooms back open although I think the marina is officially closed for the season after tomorrow.
