Folks FYI there may be some river traffic limitations imposed in the Newburgh area of the Hudson this coming Sunday.
There is a swimming event from Newburgh to Beacon (across the river) this Sunday 8/3/08 from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M.. You may be asked to delay your travel plans by the CG in the area.
I searched the local notice to mariners and did not see mention of it, however, the permit #01-NY-113-08 was passed on to me by the CG Aux.

The river is for everyone so be patient with the swimmers ok?
