I am not sure if this subject has been brought to everyones attension. I posted this on the Ask the Captain forum as well. Please go to the link below and read what the Government wants to do regarding recreational boating. Please follow the directions and write to your state Senator. You only need to fill in your name address and email. You will also need to choose the state in which you live for your Senator. Pass this on to fellow boaters who may not be on this forum.

Yeah, we've heard about it. Thanks for sharing it again, though. I have to believe that our Congressmen will fix this damn thing before it blows up in their faces. They've had a lot of warnings, and organizations like BoatUS are making a big fuss about it as well...

Bob, come on now, this is planet earth ok? Actually I wrote Hinchey once and actually got a response but it was so long coming I forgot about it. Something about how companies are ripping off their employees by bilking their retirement plans for the executive stock options...

I just want to use my boat and pay at least $8.00 a gallon for Diesel fuel. Let's keep America rolling...
 
Ha! Yeah, 8 bucks. We figure we will be lucky to do the icw this year and then sell the boat...

89 Octane Gasoline $3.959 Gal.
 
Don't fret, John, it will be $1.00/gallon by summer!
