Has anyone been here lately? It looks reasonably priced, and I remember eating there a while ago and it was pretty good.

How is it getting in and out at low tide?

It's OK. They have free docking and after you eat, you can walk around town. There are a lot of galleries and nice shops. They also have a farmer's market but I'm not sure which days.

Watch the depth at low tide. There is supposed to be a channel but it's not marked. The chart shows a minumum of 4 feet. Not true.

I used to go there all the time when the Cornetta family actually owned it, (I lived in piermont). After they sold to the new owners I went in a few times but always found it was not very good at all. The quality really dropped. I have not been back in quite a while, maybe it's gotten beter.

The tide is the drawback of piermont. We are Bergen county residents, so close to home is bigger priority with the little ones. You have to leave yourself at least an hour around low tide to get in and out. It is low from the marina all the way out the channel. The restaurant is good and always jam packed. The town shops are amazing, along with the farmers market on sunday. we like the haverstaw marina ammenities, but proximity is key.

I go there a lot. They are very nice people and the food is good and reasonable. Free dock with a dine, so that is a bonus with a 40 footer, where in Manahattan they charge $2 per foot, even eating at their restaurants. It is shallow, however.

Well we stopped in Friday night, and had a great meal. I called ahead and was instructed where to dock. (Not very clearly I was in someone's slip, but they were not home) The food was excellent, I had a grilled red snapper that was a very good size, and was very fresh. The 6 of us showed up and they had a table waiting for us. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was freindly.

I will be returning!

Happy to hear they got it back together there! I will give it another shot.
