Croton

Hi all,
I'm heading up to Croton this weekend(weather permitting)from Monmouth Beach NJ and spending a night on the hook. On board I have a fitness freak that needs to run, can I dink in and drop off outside the swimming area? or is there another place to do such a thing?

Yeah - there is a park there. Dink into the beach and drop off. Stay towards the tree side and stay away from the swimming area or the lifeguards will chase you sometimes.

In the SW corner there is a small beach, just at the end of the metal sea wall that is a good spot to drop off.

The police patrol the beach by the swimming area to ensure that they harass as many people as possible.

If it's early in the AM, the north end of the swimming beach should be no problem.

There was a female bartender at Sallie T's last summer who made the best margarita!

The bartenders are great there..Also if your in the area The Dockside rb2@gr5t Navesink Marina right down the road in Sea Bright on Ocean ave is a party as well..About a 20 min stroll from Sallee T's.You can dink over from The Channel Club..Great drinks there too..Rum buckets is the popular drink.
