Took a spectacular cruise around Manhattan yesterday. Couldn't have been any better. Wasn't stopped at all by the authorities, although they were out in full force, which was nice to see. Out into the ocean through Jones Inlet (nice rollers)... Around the Rockaway tip... through the Vz bridge... Up the East River... into the Harlem River (watch out for the crap floating by!)... out into the Hudson... and back through the ocean again. Unreal.
We truly are very lucky to live around such great boating spots. I suggest to all you give it a try. Easy to gas up again at Liberty Landing, just before the Lady Liberty statue! I lucked out because the weather couldn't have been nicer!
