CurrentSea is coming home

Thanks for coming to the rescue Dave and John! Lol
I think Trojan is more popular today than in the 90's :-)

Rather Trojans take over the site rather then the republican know it alls lol

There's an intelligent remark. Now someone's going to complain and say this thread belongs in NBR.

Yep Randy (SeaHawk) should be along soon enough to complain.

Personally I don't care where it belongs but I do think we should leave politics out of "CurrentSea is coming home".

Actually the boat has 2 cameras, 1 backup camera and 1 cockput camera.
Pretty cool as I always had a issue seeing the starboard corner.
The cockpit camera is nice because when I am crusing just me and Gizmo, he runs down there sometimes and I can't see him, now i can.

I need to see how I can tap these cameras and feed the signal to my internet.

Ok Allen, seriously, another 440. There is more Trojans up there than there is in my local drugstore!

You may want to add another camera in the engine room I like to look at this camera before I open a hatch after getting an alarm.

As for viewing over the internet I'm still working on this, what do you have for internet on board? I was just at the Verizon store a few minutes ago looking at their hotspot modem for $50 bucks and then $10 a month you can add a hotspot to the boat and use this to log into a DVR which you can feed you cameras into then you can record your cameras and remotely watch both live and recorded video. I already have the DVR on board but I don't have internet at the moment. I may try this in the Spring.

We have a hot spot nearby. I will probably have a rogue to pull signal in with a router on board fir wireless or wired access.
Let me know what you find out. Would be cool since camera is already there. It is connected to raymarine unit.

Dave you are probably better of with the marina wifi. It will be cheaper and you don't have to pay year round.

GS and Billy cant take a little humor huh??

Allen youre still new. Youll see how threads tend to wonder off

Dave, at theAYC can you have wireless cameras hooked to pilings or something like that?

Dave,
Congratulation on bringing her home. You will definitely enjoy the diesels and the IPS drives. I guess it's time to start making vacation plans!
