For awhile it looked like Fay might noy be such a "bad" storm. She had the potential to bring some serious amount of rain to north Georgia and her winds were staying at TS levels. Oh well, now it appears to be on a track west along the northern gulf coast. So she makes a mess of my weekend. I had been tabbed by my buddy "H" to be the no.2 "captain" on his Bertram for a 3 day fishing trip about 100 miles offshore. Some co-workers of his wanted to fish for tuna, wahoo, grouper, amberjack, and the like. Of course these "sports" know little about running the boat or even rigging tackle so H needed some backup. I was looking forward to it until Fay entered the picture. Thanks to her we've cancelled the trip. We might be crazy, but we're not stupid. It's going to be a tad rough out there....I believe.
