Dear Hogan,

Hey Butch ,
Thanks for looking out for me,was really nice of you to offer help!! Nice to hear a friendly voice over the raido especially cause everyone baild and i was alone.
I hit something log probably , so after i talked to you i started trolling back & pretty much missed the show but made it thanks.pretty sure i stripped the plastic cone on the inside of the prop hub, didn't feel like jumping in last night in the dark to investigate.

Headed down to the boat now and if i get her going gonna head for kingston till mon . Was just checking the site to thank you when i found your post.
If I can ever help you out just say the word Gov. Thanks a bunch man nice to know some one is looking out for you in the dark.
BTW switched to 13 for comm.traffic when i left and didn't want to bother you durring the show, hope you had fun :) Jon

We're at Kingston now, saw Jon yesterday, he stopped by for a few minutes before the fireworks so I guess he made it up north. We're staying another night...sitting here typing from "Freedom" wireless network. Dan, the signal strength is pretty low, what's the tecnical support line? Leme guess...1-800-EAT-SH!T? Does that connect me to my friend "Austin" in India?

Dear Mr. Walshie,
You call is important to us... Here at "Freedom River Enterprise Associates Konsortium Information Technologies" our motto is quality first. This network is not used to the high bandwidth requirements your video traffic consumes. We'll endeavor to upgrade our equipment as income from generous contributions allows.
Regards and thank you for your support!

Just got back home from roundout , the fireworks were great the weather held long enough for the show , then poured about 30 min. after it was over.
Saw a boat up on the wall this morning before the lighthouse on the north side (poor guy hope no one was hurt)
Nice to have seen you again Dan and Deb , and nice to have met Walshie and his family too.

cruised back with 2 boats from stony point nice and flat the whole way .
Butch and Hogan thats what i get for going fast at night , stripped the plastic insert in the prop hub but believe it or not hardly any damage to the prop , go figure ? ( I was able to plane off fri. night butch made it to just about stony point before it completely striped luckly)
see ya guys Jon

Hey Jon glad you made it up this way again. So someone turned north a little early again huh? It's been a while since we've seen that one happen. Last time it was a 40+ sport fisher.

Yup but it was just a little guy about 20ft. or so. I gotta get a camera for the boat, first time i see something good and can't even share a pic. with everyone.
Mabey we will haed up by KD and anchor out behind that island up there one of these days if it's deep enough for FREEDOM. Thanks for making me feel welcome , always nice to see you guys.
Jon

It's deep enough. We are going to do some anchoring our prior to the fall. We have some shaking down to do, and skills to develop.

Damn, sorry to hear someone hit that jetty. At high tide its pretty well submerged...

Glad you all made it home safe...

Well HOGAN, you came through again. We're about to head home from our trip up north, yesterday's weather was perfect and definitely worth blowing off one more day. Weather looks good today until 5pm so we're heading out at noon.

Nice to meet you too Jon, I was going to stop by after the fireworks and chat while walking the dog but the downpour put an end to that. The lightening show was on par with the fireworks show. Wife and I stayed on the bridge to watch that.

Dan and Deb, thanks once again for the hospitality. Hopefully we'll see you before or on your big trip down in Croton.
Also, it's 10:30, the wifi is working great and I noticed someone on your boat. I was going to inquire but when I saw her hauling canvas and isenglass, well, I knew what it was and "do not disturb" ;)

Chris our pleasure and thanks for looking out for us! Glad to hear Freakit enterprises is alive and well. Hope you had a safe, pleasant ride back. We have a long trip ahead of us and plan to break it up quite a bit. Something like 30 days to get South, and that's if we travel every day.

Dan, Are leaving the boat there or are you going to do a return trip as well...

Dan, time to get that website up and running!!

Butch we have no idea yet. All sorts of ideas being tossed in the air. The last one was coming up as far as the Cheasapeake and staying there for a summer.
Chris I'm getting there. I need to find some software that converts garmin gps files to google earth format.
