Debris is Back

FYI: Was out yesterday afternoon around Kingston Point north to Saugerties and noticed quite a bit of debris in the river -- a couple of large logs half submergered. With the caps on the water they were a bit difficult to pick-up. The rains of this week has brought in more than I've seen all summer.

Other than that, a great ride on Halloween Day.
 
Not sure if it was only the rain, I think it has to do with last weeks full moon high tide combined with last Friday nights rain.

Last Saturday, NY harbor was loaded with trees, logs, chunks of docks, etc....

Very big stuff.

There's lots of debris around my boat right now - considering its sitting in the PARKING LOT!!!

Be safe out there, anyone who's still in the water...
 
There was much more stuff in the water around Haverstraw this past spring.
