Here is the announcement of the Summit:

Speakers from a wide variety of perspectives will address Bay-Delta estuary water, infrastructure and environmental issues during a Delta Water Summit from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 3 in the Satellite Student Union at Fresno State.

Parking is available for free in the green and yellow designated areas.

Many top water leaders from around California and the nation will be participating.

Gov. Jerry Brown has been invited to present his water supply vision for California, as has commissioner of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Michael Connor. Deputy resources secretary Gerald Meral will speak on a panel along with Delta Stewardship Council member Gloria Gray and Sunne McPeak of the Delta Vision Foundation.

Panelists will include Ron Jacobsma, general manager of Friant Water Authority, Tom Birmingham, general manager of Westlands Water District, Chris Acree, executive director of Revive the San Joaquin, Rep. Jim Costa, D-Fresno and state Assemblymember Henry Perea, D-Fresno."
