all vendors are not perfect. But, how they handle their mistakes or perceived mistakes, is more important than anything else they do. Most customers are very forgiving when their chosen vendor makes things right.
I know there are always 2 sides to a story. But not returning your customers call is unacceptable. Unless he had something unfortunate occur in his personal life.

I agree. Things don’t always go perfectly and that isn’t necessarily an indication of the quality of a vendor.
$hit happens, and it happens to the best of them.
But how they handle problems or customer complaints speaks volumes.
It’s easy to shake hands, get a pat on the back, or a strong recommendation from a customer who is satisfied right out of the gate.
But a characteristic of a truly great vendor or merchant is one who can gain that praise and respect from a customer who was less than satisfied at first, and then made happy.
I’ve strongly recommended many vendors and professionals over the years based on that philosophy, and dumped or trashed a few others over the years because they fell short.
