I am moving my boat from Florida to The Delta. Since i have to take the fly bridge off, I am looking for a do it yourself yard some where between Disco to Walnut Grove. I have taken it off twice before and like to do it myself. I know it is quicker when the person who takes it off puts it back on.

Marine Emporium at Bethel Island used to allow do it yourself work in their yard. I haven't hauled out there in about 5 years so things may have changed.

willy, welcome to the Delta! You will find this forum very helpful to you as you begin your new adventures! We look forward to having you. When do anticipate arriving out here?

I actually grew up in the bay area. spent most of my youth on the Delta and lived my last 14 years in Disco before moving away in 98.

Work brings me back and I cant wait to get the boat here. Boat should be here in a month. Need to go to Fl. and pull the boat and get it ready to ship.

I will check out the marinas sugested other that Marine Emporium I left my last boat with them to sell and it was disaster.

Anyway it is good to be home, but I have kept up. I check here and subscribe to Yachtsman

It's out of your way but Napa Marina allows do it yourself work. Lot's of multihulls being worked on up there.
