Elliot Key harbor

Greetings,

Could someone tell me what is the maximum size boat and draft that can get into Elliott Key harbor. My boat is 340 Sundancer and I am not sure that I could go into the harbor safely. It looks very shallow.

do you have inboards or stern drives ?

with stern drive you could get in with the drives up a little but i woudn't risk it at low tide... forget it if you have inboards.

Boca Chita is deep enough

mosquitoes must be a problem by now in either location.

Good Luck in Boca Chita... All the bigger boats that can not make Elliott harbor end up Boca Chita, espacially on the weekend and mostly in "winter". Summer is for mosquitos!! and very, very hungry!
Anyway, in high tide you can make it.. I have seen several 30~36 Sail boats.. But once that tide goes low... No way out..
If you have stern drives.. No problem.. High or low tide..
