Hi,
I read in an earlier post about dipping exhaust manifolds in a phosphoric acid bath, prior to painting, after "decrusting" them with muriatic acid. What is the purpose of the phosphoric acid? I would think the most important thing would be to neutralize the muriatic acid with something after treatment. Where can I purchase phosphoric acid? Also, where is the best place to buy the primer and paint to coat the mannys after I'm done cleaning them? Thanks.
