Hey Guys, trying to plan a day trip to Fells Point this up-coming weekend. We would be heading in from The Sassafras on my 260 Dancer. I've been to the Inner Harbor (many years ago), but have heard Fells Point is a neat place and would like to take the family there.

I need some recommendations:

Where to dock up for the day (public or marina) that's close to down town of Fells Pont.
Any Bars/Restaurants we should hit up?

I'd call ahead. The entire harbor may be booked for the weekend.
 
We have been through the Fells Point area several times on our dinghy looking for day dockage when we were at the BMC Lighthouse point marina. I don't think there is any public dockage right in Fells Point. There is one warehouse face dock that says no docking and I have seen a few boats there, but I would not dock there, it is not in good shape. You could dock at the Inner Harbor and take the water taxi to Fells Point or even walk, but spots may be hard to find. Having said that, the Inner Harbor public dockage rarely fills up these days. You could also dock in the Canton area and walk.
