Fiberglass bottom ?

Have a 1974 36ft Gulfstar trawler and want to put an "inside hull" transducer inside the hull. Need to know if the bottom is just fiberglass only (the deck is core between fiberglass) The transducer will only work with fiberglass. Thanks

Joe, most likely it's solid glass.

Ditto, MOST LIKELY solid fiberglass.

For a TEST stick the transducer down with latex caulk (bear in mind this is temporary) and try it out BEFORE the caulk dries. If it works clean up the caulk and use something more permanent.
