will be going to the FL Keys for the first time at the end of February. No boat this time. I will be staying at Duck Key, at a resort (Hawk's Cay). Planning on flying into Miami, renting a convertible for a hopefully leisurely drive down. Planning on taking a day trip to Key West, see what the hype is all about, maybe catch dinner and a sunset.
We're visiting for only 4 days and I am just looking for some suggestions as to what to do or what not to do. It sounds like there are a million places to go, see etc. I wanna find a nice place to swim (beach not important but looking for some nice, clear water), perhaps a little snorkeling, some biking through a state park or something and maybe some canoeing or kayaking while the sun sets.
Any recommendations as to places I might be able to do that would be much appreciated.
