Happy New Year folks...

Every day is a blessing..... and somewhat of a surprise! Happy New Year!
 
BTW--- I'm awake at this hour because the local nimrods are mixing fireworks and lots of semi-auto gunfire. It's prettyeasy to tell which is fireworks and which is gunshots. The firearms are small caliber.22's, some 9mm, and quite a few in the .223 range. It's one of those things I just do not get (wasting good ammo in the dark).

Neighbor's fireworks kept me awake until almost 10pm last night. 😕
 
May everyone have a happy, safe, and healthy New Year. I made it through the 1st half of the Cotton Bowl, but woke up in time to see the Fort Myers and surrounding areas' Fireworks. Quite a show. One of the few times I was awake at Midnight on New Years Eve!

Yep. Neighbors son is a police officer, all sorts of gunfire around midnight I can only hope it’s being discharged safely!
 
Went to bed before 9:00, woke up to gunshots/fireworks at 12:00, rolled over and slept until my dog woke me up at 4:30
 
We managed to stay up until midnight!
