Just want to wish all of my fellow HRRC memebers the most holy and happy holidays.

May the coming year bring us all health, prosperity and peace of mind, . . . and may the boating season begin just as soon as humanly possisble.

Prediction: there will NOT be a boat show at the Javits Center next winter.

Manmade, I think you hit it on the head -- I can't see Javits happening next year even *if* the economy improves. Seems to have been sinking (no pun intended) for awhile...

George, I think you are right about Javits - I heard from Charlie that it was a disaster - Mahopac Marina didn't even exhibit for the first time in years. I haven't even been involved with anything with the marina, 'cause things are pretty quiet these days.

In the future, there might be more room for smaller boat shows instead, or maybe just the few really big regional ones such as ACY...

Anyhow - hope all is well this holiday season for everybody!!!
