Haverstraw Marina...Hmmmm

Mike, is your son still a dock hand?
If so, he could be working for Bob soon...THAT ought to be interesting!?!?

Mike's son works for us over in Stony Point Bay now. He spends his time looking at girls in bikinis in the pool!

Tony, same here. Sorry I didn't have much time to chat and floating around by the busy fuel dock was a little unnerving!

2006, I did a Hudson River trip, stayed at Haverstraw and loved it, good people, nice place, great location where the pool was, but no resturant (think it burned down the year before). The town was not far and they provided a shuttle. We ate in some Italian joint and it was good.

I liked this place.

Haverstraw has never been the same since Walter was there.

They still talk about him on the docks. Something about the day he left being the best day they can remember! :)

Hey Walter,

If you ever plan on another trip.. The resturant is opening in a few wweeks and it looks realy nice... I do miss the friday night drinks at the Tiki Bar and the stumble back down to the boat...

Robyns Nest,
Now that i think about it from the other point of view... it was kinda a " hit and run business especially twards the end ".
Pete and I had alot of fun in the busniess & we and a few others ( whom I won't mention names here )were involved in a marina in lake hopatcong for a few years back, again a lot of fun.

One thing I can say is... right or wrong HE sure knows how to surrive & make money in the dog eat dog business of boats & marinas, like I said he is a good friend of mine ,
but don't hold that against me ;) )LOL( $Jon$
