Havre De Grace Area Marinas

Going to be in the Havre De Grace area late this summer. Looking for a decent marina for a transient for 6-8 weeks.

Any suggestions?

I wish I could help you, Gary, but I'm more familiar with marinas near you than Havre De Grace. Have you tried checking out Active Captain for reviews?
 
Years ago stayed at Tidewater. The majority of boats are sailboats but there's also plenty of powerboats. They have a ship store, showers, fuels, facilities, repairs, etc. Overall it was well run when I was there.
 
Tidewater or The City Marina. Either is good but Tidewater is right in the "downtown" area while the City Marina is a longer walk to the restaurants and shops.
 
We stayed at Tidewater once, several years ago. Nice place, at the time.

Thanks for the replies everyone. We will be checking these out this summer.

As for Active Captain, I just signed up with them a few months ago. Seems like every time I've tried to find information the page just sit there and doesn't load properly. Need to work that out as I've heard they are a great resource.
 
We stayed at Penn Beach (2) nights this past summer. Very pleased, new, clean, great pool/hot tub over looking the harbor. It was very quiet and well maintained, only problem was it was a bit of a walk to "down town" area. Here is the link to their website.

I was at Tidewater from 2001 to 2008. Best marina in HDG. Easy walk into town. Nice staff. Fully stocked marine supply store
