My WC Head Mate is finally showing signs of trouble. It still pumps out well, but won't draw raw water in.
It isn't an urgency since I generally fill the bowl with fresh water because I find that it virtually eliminates any odor from the head. But I still like to have everything working as it should just in case I need it.
I was able to find and order a repair kit online and hope it will be here soon.
I know that many will say replace it the head, but it's an older boat, I have other things that I'd rather spend my money on, and the manual head is fine for how we use the boat. I also like to keep things simple where possible.
This is my first time tackling a job like this on a Marine Head.
Can anyone point me towards a manual for this job, or give me any tips?
I was able to find an installation manual on the Thetford sire, but it doesn't cover this task.
Thanks in advance!

If you need I have a complete pump I willing to sell had it in my sailboat one year but replaced it.

Thanks. I already have the rebuild kit, but I'll let you know if I decide to take you up on the pump. How much are you looking to get for it?
