I am trying to get the lower unit off a Mercury 2001 8HP outboard. The thing is hung up with the shift rod.
Did a search and found a poster with a similar problem I have, WHO GOT A RESPONSE!
The search mechanism does not give the entire thread, just one post in a thread so I don't know if the problem actually was solved.
Any ideas?
