High tide after storm

Better watch you head as you walk onto the dock. The D dock sign seems low at times like this. I'm short so I don't have a problem but others have head their head at a normal high tide.
 
I remember at the end of the season it was like that, no one could get to their boats, the parking lot was flooded.
 
Wow, that means there is probably at least 4' of water in my slip, that's a record.

Interesting how 2 or 3 times a year it's actually safe to take your boat out. You can't get to the boat without getting your feet wet though! ;)
 
I remember when I went to the channel club at high tide at A dock the water was almost up to my knees it was not fun returning after dinner. rolling up my pants and hoping not to get electricuted.
