Hey, all - the guy who got hit posted on another ooating forum and I thought it was worth posting here...

27-28 foot Center Console with a T-Top. According to the guys who got clobbered, they were drift fishing with nav lights on when they got hit. The culprit was running twin Yamaha OB', and on plane. The bas**** who hit them turned off his nav lights and took off. Those guys could have been killed.

Just keep an eye out for any boat like the one described that has hull damage on the bow. East Hampton Marine Division and Coast Guard are both looking for this yahoo.

"The pilot of the missing boat that struck a 21-foot Sea Swirl Swiper with two fishermen on board on Friday came forward to authorities over the weekend, said East Hampton Harbor Master Ed Michels Monday morning.

The pilot was scheduled to meet with Harbor Master Michels with his attorney to discuss the incident and deal with any potential charges. Mr. Michels said on Monday he could not release further details about the incident."
 
Here is one time I wish they gave out boat licenses and took this guy's away forever!

Long enough for Alcohol test maybe.......hope he does well on the drug test........the guy is a dirtbag
